Across most Christian traditions the Lenten season is a time for personal and corporate spiritual renewal. Appropriately, Lent begins quietly with ashes and an acknowledgement of our mortality and builds in intensity as the observance of Christ’s death and resurrection grow closer.

This year Lent spans the 46 days between Wednesday, February 22nd and Saturday, April 7th. During this sacred time we invite your congregation to reflect on the Gospel’s message of mercy and grace – gifts we have all been freely given and that we are to generously share with others. You and your church can join thousands of other believers on a journey of compassion as together we Pray, Read, Reflect and Respond in love to God’s Word and actively engage the world’s poor and oppressed.
