New Brunswick

The New Brunswick District of the Canadian Bible Society has been a New Brunswick Chartered not-for-profit ministry since 1819. The Canadian Bible Society started in 1804 and we are a member of several other districts across the country. The Canadian Bible Society is a member of the larger family of Bible Societies called the United Bible Societies. We all share the same mission and mandate.

 

Our mission is to publish, translate and distribute the word of God in a language the people of the world can read and understand and at a price they can afford. We have operated out of the District Bookstore and Office at 117 Germain Street, Saint John, New Brunswick, since 1916. Since we honor the valuable contribution of so many, we are now moving into a new phase of ministry and will continue to serve Atlantic Canada in several new ways after the store closes on Sept. 30th, 2010.
