This project of Proclamation 2011 is in its seventeenth year in the province of Quebec and the goal of this project is to encourage the reading of the Bible as well as to cultivate an interest for the Word of God. To achieve this goal, participants will proclaim the Word of God orally over a period of ten days. At the end of the 10th day, the Bible will have been read! A closing celebration will be held in the evening after the final reading for the day.

This is an inter-confessional project. Christians from all denominations are invited to participate and read once or as many times as they wish. You may also read in any language you choose.

The readings will begin Wednesday at 7AM until 9PM, and Saturday at 7AM until 6 PM. The readings are organized according to a schedule that divides the Bible into segments. You may register by calling at 418.692.2698. Click here to register online.

The Bible Society wishes to support a very special project for Translation with the monies that will be received during Proclamation 2011.
