NEW CANADIAN BIBLE SOCIETY WEBSITE IS BRIGHTER, BOLDER, BETTER!

Toronto, ON – October 19, 2009 – The Canadian Bible Society (CBS) has launched its new website which provides easy access to Bible-related resources. The new website includes free Scripture resources and other information that shares The Word. For Life. so that people everywhere can read it, know it, love it!

The new website – www.biblesociety.ca – is designed to make it as simple as possible to find information about the Bible and the work of CBS in Canada and around the world. “We were finding that too many people coming to our site could not find what they were looking for because the content was just too many clicks away,” explains Marta LoFranco, CBS Director of Communications, who has overseen the project. “Now visitors can find our downloadable e-Scriptures, free Scripture resources, real life stories, partnerships, and easy ways to donate toward the life changing work of the Bible Society.

The new site also makes it easy to search the Bible by keyword and to discover local district events and national events in which CBS is involved.
CBS National Director, Ted Seres says, “CBS is fulfilling the most important mission there is by delivering the Bible’s message of life and hope. Over the past 18 months, we’ve been redefining what our brand stands for and preparing ourselves for the future. While our brand is the visible example of our values, it is more than just a logo. It provides recognition and reassurance to all audiences that we interact with through our printed material or online communications like our new website.”

The Canadian Bible Society exists to reach every man, woman and child with the life-giving Word of God and to encourage its use.
