Who We Are

Formally founded in 1904 and chartered in 1906, the Canadian Bible Society is a member of the United Bibles Societies, a fellowship of 145 national Bible societies around the world.  The societies work in partnership with churches and other Bible agencies to facilitate and support translation and Scripture distribution work around the globe.

ABOUT CBS

CBS exists to reach every man, woman and child with the life-giving Word of God.  Our core mandates include translation, publication, distribution and engagement – encouraging the use of God's life-giving Word.

Leadership

Strategic direction and vision casting is in the hands of the CBS leadership team which is made up of day-to-day operations staff. A team of District Directors is also at work in thirteen provinces at a grass roots level with churches and volunteers. National Director, Ted Seres, leads the CBS leadership teams.

Districts

CBS has district offices all across the country to resource individuals and churches through speaking engagements and other Scripture resources that they have available.
