Bill's work with CBS began four years ago as District Director for Prince Edward Island. An ordained minister, he has served churches in the US and Prince Edward Island as well as an international renewal organization. In addition to his work with the Bible Society, he is Interim Lead Pastor of First Baptist Church in Charlottetown.

With the reorganization of the Maritime Districts, Bill now provides services and leadership within the Provinces of PEI and Nova Scotia, and serves a supportive role to the New Brunswick District.

"I have always considered it a real privilege to be a part of the work of the Bible Society. For years, I have had a love for the local church and the integration of the mission of CBS in providing Scriptures to congregations, and seeing people's lives transformed by the Good News of the Gospel have been a source of real satisfaction. Through the combination of ministering through churches of many denominations, and the support that CBS offers in helping people engage with the Scriptures, I feel as though a difference is being made for the Kingdom of God."

Married to Dr. Rinda Dean for over 32 years and the father of three grown daughters, Bill especially enjoys the opportunity to support and encourage pastors and churches in their work of impacting their communities and regions with the life changing power of the Word of God.
