Liliane Gordon

Interim Director of Secteur Francophone

Liliane Gordon is in her 7th year with CBS and is the Interim Director of the Secteur francophone. With over 30 years of experience in administration and leadership roles in different Christian organizations and church boards, she has enjoyed the challenge of stepping in to direct the French Work following the much regretted passing of her colleague, Serge Rhaume.

Born and raised in the province of Qubec, Liliane is perfectly bilingual and close to the French Canadian culture. She obtained her B.A. in French language and literature at McGill University and pursued biblical studies at the Institut biblique Emmas in Switzerland.

The interdenominational and collaborative work between the Secteur francophone and the CBS districts has been a constant encouragement to Liliane to keep pressing on in order to respond to the rising demand for French Scriptures in Canada. The Secteur francophone has over the past 25 years, built up an expertise in French publication for both the Catholic and Protestant population and it has introduced many Bible engagement programmes and resources adapted to the French Canadian culture.

Liliane and Loren have been married for 31 years and have two married children: David (& Yan) and Nathalie (& Brian).
