Lisa Keizer
Director of Development
Lisa joined the CBS team in April 2009 as Director of Development where she leads a hardworking team in all aspects of fundraising including direct mail, e-philanthropy, donor support, major gifts, planned giving and special events. Lisa has more than 15 years of development experience. Prior to starting her position at the Canadian Bible Society, she raised valuable funds working for such national charities as Heart and Stroke Foundation, and the Children's Wish Foundation.
Lisa left the corporate sector to do more meaningful work, and entered the non-profit /charity sector after completing a DTS with YMAM in Turner Valley Alberta, and an internship at the Union Rescue Mission in Los Angeles, California in 1997 to 2000. There she realized a passion for serving the community and worked with local organizations such as Yonge Street Mission and the Centre for Student Missions. Lisa was nominated to her church board's publicity team and together with her husband Brian, direct a three-year stewardship campaign.
Lisa is a member of AFP and writes the CFRE exam this spring.
