The recruitment of a Director of Ministry Advancement to serve the Maritime Provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island is now complete. The new DMA, Rev. Dr. Lorne Freake (pronounced Free-ak) is fluent in both French and English and from North West New Brunswick.


Rev Freake who is husband of one and father of four, brings with him a wide spectrum of experience and credentials. These include a Master’s degree in Theology from University of Quebec (UQTR) and a Ph. D. (Theology) from Laval University. He is a correctional service chaplain accredited by the Correctional Service of Canada. He is a teacher, preacher, chaplain, counselor, communicator, writer, community builder and facilitator, newspaper columnist, guitarist and songwriter and has recorded one Community Cause CD entitled OASIS.
