Marta was born in Springfield, Missouri to Canadian parents and she enjoys dual citizenship. She was raised in Latin America where her parents served as missionaries. Marta is a bilingual creative communications professional with 18 years of writing and project management experience for various clients including Gideons, PAOC, Toyota's Masterpiece Series and FTC Canada (Feed the Children) with whom she travelled on medical teams as a Spanish translator, and worked in communications.
Marta began communications work for CBS in 2008. Since her arrival, she has facilitated a rebranding of the CBS logo, tag line, magazine and new website. Marta is responsible for copywriting, graphic design management and brand messaging for CBS - sharing The Word. For Life. with the CBS loyal friends and supporters.
Marta has been married to Dale for 27 years and they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. During a family crisis, Marta stood firmly on the promises in God's life-giving Word. In 2006, her 2-year-old granddaughter was diagnosed with stage-four cancer. Marta read the Bible to her many times a day, teaching her to memorize Scripture, while she came back to health after a harrowing journey through 14 months of treatment.
