Meggy Kwok

Director of Human Resources

Meggy Kwok was born and raised in Hong Kong and came to Canada to receive her university education. It was there the Campus Crusade led Meggy to Christ. Since then she has been actively serving the Lord through her affiliation with various Christian and Missionary Alliance Churches in Hong Kong and Canada. In January 2003, Meggy began attending the Richmond Hill Christian Community Church and she is currently serving in their Children's Ministry. To better equip herself for ministry, she is studying part-time at the Tyndale Seminary on a Master of Theological Studies program. Her goal is to be able to serve as a spiritual director when God provides the opportunity.

Meggy has been with the Canadian Bible Society since April 1992. With a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta and experience as a paralegal, she began her ministry with us as an Assistant in the Planned Giving Department. A year later, she took charge of the department and provided support to the organization as a whole by sharing her expertise in bequests, gift annuities and other planned giving programs. In May 2003, Meggy began a new chapter in the Bible ministry when she took on responsibilities in Human Resources and the Volunteer Program. As a Certified Human Resources Professional, she is now our Director of Human Resources and Volunteer Program.
